Who will respond when an event occurs?

We Monitor believes that you should be in total control of your security and as such, you decide who you would like to respond in case of an event. Neighbours, family, friends, your local CPF, a third-party armed response company - the choice is yours.

 

How many people can be alerted to a situation at my premises?

You are in control of who and how many people you want to alert to an event.

 

How will my responders be contacted?

As the We Monitor system is autonomous it is able to contact responders via a SMS or Telegram message providing details regarding the event that is received. In addition, a call to the responder can be placed alerting them to the message containing the event information. This is especially usefull during evenings as the We Monitor system will continue to call your responder every two minutes until such time that the call is answered. The only requirement is that your responders be in posession of a cellphone able to receive at least a SMS message.

 

What is the information that my responders will receive?

Below is a sample of a message that was sent to responders when a burglary event was detected by one of our systems. The information includes the date and time of the event, the site/address of the alarm, a short description of the location of the alarm together with the details of the event that is being reported.

Which panels does the GSM Communicator support?

The GSM Communicator module can be integrated with almost all existing alarm panels on some level as panels not 100% compatible with the module can be interfaced via the inputs of the module. The module integrates seamlessly with panels that support the Contact ID protocol and we are able to provide detailed event information received by these alarm panels.

Who installs the system in my area?

Any qualified alarm technician will be able to install the system.

 

Why is We Monitor so much cheaper than other security companies?

We Monitor utilise existing, cost effective technology to monitor and alert customers instead of creating call centers with tens of employees. This allows us to pass the cost savings with regards to salaries, vehicles, radio equipment and the like on to our customers.
